Cycle tourism

Bicycles are available for ecological, wine, historical and nature itineraries: the cycle paths, the Museo del Mare, the lagoon and the Fishermen's Island, the old town, the market, the beach, the wineries and the countryside, also out of season and with an environmental tourist guide. Anyone looking for a cycling holiday can choose the beachfront apartment Azzurra (2 to 5 people), with bicycles, repair kit and maps provided.

A rickshaw ride

From Piazza Sant'Antonio you continue towards Viale Santa Margherita, which becomes a pedestrian area in the evening from June to September, with shops, restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream parlours. From here the ride leads to the fishing port, on the edge of the old town, to Piazza Vescovado with the cylindrical bell tower and to the Madonnina dell'Angelo, the little church on the sea dedicated to fishermen. You can go on along the Lungomare Trieste to Falconera, on the edge of the lagoon, and return past the funfair and Aquafollie.

Parking

You can park for free about 10 minutes' walk away, near the market square, opposite Aquafollie, or use the Linea Bianca, free all year round. The Linea Blu is paid from 1 May to 30 September, excluding the centre.
