Piazza Sant’Antonio, Caorle

Piazza Sant’Antonio is a few metres from the old town of Caorle. It is spacious, with a central flowerbed and maritime pines. Viale S. Margherita and Viale Marconi, parallel to Ponente beach, start from the square. It is dedicated to Saint Anthony, with a votive shrine nearby. From 8 pm to midnight the square is part of the pedestrian zone. Shops, restaurants, pizzerias and bike hire make for shopping and fun. Concerts and various events are held every year; among the best known are the blessing on 13 June, Saint Anthony’s day, the flower market, the Ferragosto watermelon party and various concerts.
