Caorle beach consortium

Consorzio Arenili Caorle srl was founded in 1977, bringing together the many beach concessions held by the various hotels into a single area that today covers 167,775 m²; its members also include the Municipality of Caorle, the Province of Venice and important associations such as Ascom and the Hoteliers’ Association. The consortium is a beach organisation that manages the beach services along the coast, in particular:

- lifeguard service on the beach
- cleaning of the shoreline
- management of the beach sections (e.g. providing beach equipment such as changing cabins, toilets, games, showers, umbrellas, deckchairs and sunbeds)
- first aid service

The consortium’s fundamental objectives are:

- To achieve complete customer satisfaction by providing services of the highest quality standard
- To keep constant, direct contact with customers in order to anticipate their needs
- To bring a culture of quality to the beach
- To improve its image, including with the public bodies concerned
- To define and monitor quality objectives linked to its various processes, involving staff through awareness, training and communication of the results achieved
- To check and analyse the level of customer satisfaction
- To monitor and handle customer complaints
- To monitor and manage the costs of poor quality
- To define quality improvement plans and use management tools to check the results achieved
- To pay constant attention to health and safety at work. The management believes these objectives are the result of an organisation based on involvement, cooperation and transparency.
