The beaches of Caorle

The coast of Caorle stretches for more than 15 km through the town’s various districts, such as Porto Santa Margherita, Lido Altanea and Duna Verde.

This long strip of beach has very fine golden sand and a crystal-clear sea with a shallow, gently sloping bed.

Almost the whole coast has beach clubs offering the best comforts for holidaymakers: umbrellas, sunbeds, showers, cabins, children’s play areas, entertainment, lifeguards, first aid, snack bars and pedalo and canoe hire.

A long stretch of sand running alongside the beach is ideal for runners and for refreshing walks at dawn or sunset.

In some places there are stretches of free beach where you can bring your own umbrella or beach kit and enjoy a relaxing day by the sea on your own terms.

If you are looking for a natural beach, there is the Brussa beach, about 30 km from Caorle: you can reach it by car or, in summer, by the passo barca ferry. It is a free beach with no facilities, inside the Vallevecchia nature reserve, among dunes and pine woods: bring your own umbrella, water and everything you need.
