Staying in Caorle's old town means having lanes, little squares and colourful houses on your doorstep, with restaurants, ice-cream shops and boutiques, and the beach a few minutes' walk away.
What the old town is like
It is the historic heart of Caorle, around the cathedral with its cylindrical bell tower and Piazza Vescovado. On the sea, at the end of the rocks, stands the Madonna dell'Angelo sanctuary. Both beaches, Levante and Ponente, start right from the centre, and the bus station is close by too. There are only a few hotels in the centre: for July and August it is worth asking early.
Each hotel page shows the distances from the beach, the centre and the most visited places. If you would rather have the beach outside the hotel, see the hotels in Levante, those in Ponente or all the hotels in Caorle.
