Caorle Express tourist train
The Caorle Express tourist train is a fun and relaxing way to discover Caorle from the comfort of your seat: it starts from the old town, among colourful streets, squares, brightly painted houses and the medieval bell tower, and continues along a scenic route to the lagoon. It is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends.
The tours
Lagoon tour: every day from Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII, in the old town, at 10, 11 and 12 am. The route takes you into the Caorle lagoon, among nature and the traditional fishermen's huts, the "casoni".
Evening tour: every day from 7.30 to 11 pm, with rides roughly every 20 minutes (depending on traffic) towards Levante or Ponente. You can board at one of the stops along the route; the last ride leaves Piazza Papa Giovanni XXIII at 10.45 pm.
Tickets are open-dated and entitle you to a ride at the first available seat, with no priority. In bad weather the service is suspended.
Online tickets
Tickets can be bought online on the train's website, for both the lagoon tour and the evening tour.
