& Egrave; gi & agrave; countdown to the Feast of the Redeemer, the most important; important festival of the year in Venice. Luck, if so; you can & ograve; to say, & egrave; which is always held in the summer months. This year the Feast of the Redeemer will be held & agrave; Saturday 14 and Sunday, July 15, 2018. The celebration is dedicated to the Madonna della Salute, around which the boats are gathered in a sign of thanksgiving for the recovery and release from a pestilence at the end of the e & agrave; of the Middle Ages. The vote of Venetian citizens is always celebrated every year. In exceptional cases, such as tragedies, party celebrations are canceled, but it almost never happens. The main dish is the magnificent fireworks, which are skilfully exploded in the sky of Venice.

In Venice, in the Grand Canal, Saturday, July 14th 2018 at 19.00 there will be & agrave; the opening of the votive bridge connecting the Zattere with the Church of the Redeemer to the Giudecca Island. The meeting of the boats begins shortly thereafter. At 11.30 pyrotechnic show in the San Marco basin.
Sunday 15 July 2018, beginning at 9 am, will be held the regattas of the Redeemer, for the 2017-2018 rowing season, in the Giudecca canal. At 7 pm it will come; celebrated a votive mass at the Church of the Redeemer on the Island of Giudecca.
