Caorle local dialect
Venice and the surrounding areas all have a traditional dialect which changes from town to town. Caorle is no exception! Although everyone speaks Italian, amongst themselves, locals will talk to each other in “carlotto” the local dialect, which differs quite a lot from the Italian language.
