From the historical centre to the Lagoons. (17 Km)
This local itinerary of Caorle is a very popular one amongst visitors and can be easily done on foot or by bicycle.
This Itinerary starts in the large car park ( where the local market is held each Saturday). This itinerary will take you firstly passed the fishing port and fish market and then heading towards the Sailing Dock of the Orologio. After, visitors can go along the cycling path and enjoy the peace and quite of this area and enjoy watching the sailing and fishing boats sail along the canal towards the sea. The pathway leads towards the ferry crossing that takes passengers to Porto Santa Margherita. After enjoying the peace and quite of the canals, tourists can head towards the historical centre by Viale Santa Margherita where they can do some shopping and enjoy a classical Italian ice-cream. The town centre is characterised of colourful buildings and small squares that remind visitors of the Venetian influence on this town. Along these bright narrow streets, tourists can enjoy going shopping, stopping at the various pubs and wine bars and just walking along enjoying a tasty Italian ice-cream. Here, the main sightseeing points are the “Cathedral of San Stefano” the famous Bell Tower and by the small church “Madonna Dell’Angelo” of who the fishermen are devoted to. This itinerary continues along the sea promenade of “Lungomare Trieste”. Continuing along the promenade one can reach the old characteristic area of Falconera and eventually the “Isola dei Pescatori”. In this area the Casoni are situated (fishing huts made out of cane). Finally, by following the peaceful path by the canal, this will lead towards the starting point of the Itinerary.

Caorle – Porto Santa Margherita – Brian – Ca’Corniani. Itinerary (17 Km)
This itinerary will take visitors out of Caorle and visit some of the local areas. It is highly recommended by bicycle. The first stop is Porto Santa Margherita which is noted for it’s superb sailing port and tourist shops. This itinerary also allows sightseers to visit the local rural towns of Brian and Ca’ Corniani. These towns are characteristic for their rural agricultural origins and are located by the peaceful canals which are characteristic of the area.

Caorle – Ca’Corniani – La Salute di Livenza – Ottava Presa (21 Km)
This itinerary takes visitors outside Caorle and they will be able to visit other unspoilt rural villages. Heading out of Caorle by the bridge “Ponte Saetta”, on the right, visitors can see the old buildings which not until that long ago were part of the well known local agricultural company “Chiggiato”. Today, these buildings form the new Information tourist office, the centre of promotion for agricultural products, the local police station and the archaeological museum of the sea. Always continuing along the river “Livenza” one can arrive to the small local rustic village of Ca’ Corniani and admire the old farming building which is emblematic of the local Venetian architecture. At this small village, stopping in the quite “osteria” (a local wine inn) is a must to try a glass or two of local wine.
Continuing along these areas of local country sights and heading towards the next stop, La Salute, we came across a small church built in 1721. La Salute is a small town divided by a bridge and is worthy of a quick sightseeing visit as so does San Giorgio another small village close by. Going across the bridge of La Salute one can make their way towards Ottava Presa ( a small residential area) and again following the local rural road, head back towards Caorle.

Caorle – San Gaetano – Marango (km 22)
This itinerary is highly recommended to all those who wish to relax and loose themselves in the silence and tranquillity characterised by some of the surrounding rural areas. Leaving Caorle, and following the signs towards the motorway and going across two local bridges, one arrives to the small village of San Gaetano. Located at 5 km north of Caorle, is a small residential area which was once famous as it was once land of the Franchetti noble family. San Gaetano, however, was famous during the fifties and sixties due to a flood of known American personalities (Henry Fonda, Ernest Hemingway) and Venetian nobles who enjoyed going hunting in this area.
After this stop, and following a rural country road towards Marango, one can visit the Ranch “ La Desiderata”. This riding school is surrounded by a enchanting aquatic area where one can relax and do some fishing or just enjoy an hour of complete silence. Only a kilometre away once comes across Marango. Although very small, this borough is known for its religious inhabitants who are residents of the monastery. The return to Caorle can be done by following the same route back or by progressing along the urban road.

Caorle – Duna Verde – Eraclea Mare
This itinerary which is highly recommended by bike, allows visitors to see Caorle’s coastal seaside resorts. Leaving Caorle and using the new cycling path, one follows the signs towards Porto S. Margherita and Duna Verde. At only 2.5 km away, Duna Verde is located. Known as the garden- city, it is dedicated completely to the summer season. Immersed by green areas one can take a walk amongst the trees and on a Wednesday even visit the local market Heading back on to the main road once follows the road to Eraclea Mare. This area deserves a quick visit. It is mostly known for its beautiful sandy beaches and its pine forests where many campsites and holiday residential villages are located.

Valle Vecchia and Brussa
Brussa is one of the most interesting sightseeing sights of the “Alto Adriatic”. This is a semi - deserted area located beyond the canal Nicesolo, on the east of Caorle. To arrive there, once should cross the canal by ferry (which are more available during the summer season). It is recommended to follow the first part of the route by car and park in the many areas around Sindacale and from here leave by bike. The route towards Valle Vecchia allows visitors to go passed some enchanting rural villages. These areas are rich gastronomically due to their local restaurants, wine inns and farmhouses. The restaurants offer mainly typical fresh fish amongst other Italian/Venetian delights; at the osteria one can enjoy a local glass of wine and the agriturismi (family run farmhouses) offer the possibility to not only enjoy a local dish but also buy local food products such as various cheeses, salamis and ham products. Once, arrived at Valle Vecchia visitors can enjoy one of the most splendid and rich areas of natural fauna and flora. Here, apart from the natural countryside, it is possible to see many rare species such as marine birds and birds of prey. This is a natural paradise for many species so it is essential that whilst visitors are enjoying this area they must always ensure the maximum respect for the local habitat.
