Chefs without Frontiers
Saturday April 18 at 11 am on Retequattro be aired on the television program "Chefs without Borders" conducted by David Mengacci and sent Michela Coppa. The transmission will propose the bet recorded in Caorle last April 5. The appointment television, wanted by the Veneto Region and by the Local Caorle was followed by a large audience, admiring the dexterity of David Mengacci dialectic, by the beauty of the two valleys, the professionalism of the crew and the culinary competition. The transmission in fact provided for the "clash" of two cooks, one of Caorle, in the person of Giuliana Padovese, married, four children, owns a few stores for the home, with a passion for travel, the other a foreigner, in our case Sonia Cordeiro, Brazil, in Italy since'77, housewife, married to an Italian, known in Brazil, a lover of the sea. The setting, in addition to the part devoted to the cuisine itself, home to the fishermen to work on fishing nets, and provided a broad bench of the High Adriatic fish and bragozzo miniature, traditional craft caorlotte, made by local artisans. Sound transmission, followed by much of the President of the Regione Veneto Giancarlo Galan, was the town band "Marafa Marafon" while, in a bar in the tip of a fork and music developed the Treasury of David. The conductor, in this episode, went to the discovery by Scoglieraviva, the typical promenade of the town where the end lies the shrine of Our Lady dell'Angelo, the beautiful votive church of the fishermen of Caorle, and then climbed on the trawler "Luna" discovering the "fasolari" which, invariably with great gusto and then tasted. At the same time sent Michela Coppa, with its Travel Diaries, went in search of the most picturesque of Caorle, its streets and squares, and the lagoon with caorlotta casoni characteristic, the old cane lagoon fishermen.
