The Venice Carnival will enter & agrave; live Saturday 23 February 2019 with events of sure call. It will begin & agrave; at 2.30 pm with the traditional Festa delle Marie. The procession will start; from Castello and arriver & agrave; on the stage of Piazza San Marco at about 16.00. It is a water procession. & Agrave will happen; the official presentation of the Carnival to the public. Verr & agrave; made a tribute to the Doge of Venice. This party also celebrates the Venetian costumes. This is the occasion to celebrate the moment in which the 12 marie were honored with dogali gifts, that is; del Doge, before their wedding.
There will also be concerts and traditional moments in the squares of Mestre, as in Piazza Ferretto. The events will start at 4 pm.
In Venice from 9 pm to 2 pm party and typical dishes on Calle Ca 'Vendramin Calergi. We will participate & agrave; in a masked dinner.
